I'm getting started with Windows 10. When I open MC 8.5 (newly installed) in Win 10 I get a box telling me the NVidia driver is wrong. Currently it is 341.92. It seems to be working OK. I can't find where this driver file is installed.
Before I installed MC 8.5, I checked this out in Avid Readme file and found that the new driver should be 347.52.
Windows 10 complains that it should be 340.84.
I found the Windows 10 Nvidia Driver installer in the MC 8.5 program folder which wants to give me 353.82... I'd like to install it, but the installer will not install because "This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware."
The Nividia website has an "Avid certified Drivers" page which is obviously way outta date.
I'm on an HP Z400 Workstation Intel Xeon W3550 3.06GHz w/18GB RAM
I have an Nvidia Quadro FX 3800 card. My needs are not complicated. I don't need Ultra HD, or 3D.
I'm OK with leaving it like it is, but this has had me chasing around.
