Hello Avid,
recently we got background transcoding and even background rendering. I am looking forward to background exporting - that'll be an extraordinary time-saver.
But more than this there's a little bad issue I am facing regularly: As bins grow bigger the (auto-)saving bar prevents me from working on. Of course I know there's nothing more important than saving the project and the bins - no question.
However, sitting there with my hands off the keyboard waiting for this saving process to end and watching this accursed bar: a thing that should not be.
Is there a chance to put this process in the background somehow to not even get bothered by it?
I know, it depends on whether you work network-based (Unity, Interplay...) but if MS Word '95 could this 20 years ago I'm sure it's feasible for you...?
