Avid Mediafiles Folder not being created?

Hi all

I'm currently working on a student project which is using RAW Red footage. There is a DIT on set who has been creating DNxHD 36 proxies for me.

We've been using this link as a guide;

http://wolfcrow.com/blog/the-avid-red-workflow/

It's all been working fine up until it gets to the point where it comes to starting the project on AVID (the project is on an external hard drive, as it will have to move between multiple comuters).

As you can guess by the name of the topic, when it comes to the point where I have to move the .MXF files to the numbered folders, I can't do it because there is no Avid Mediafiles folder. Only the folder with all the transcodes in it and the project folder are present in the hard drive. I tired 'refreshing media drives' but that doesn't do anything. I tried creating an Avid Mediafiles folder myself but unsuprisingly that didn't work either. Is there a way to make AVID genrate the folder manually? I was always under the impression that AVID would make it automatically once the project was created.

If it makes a difference I should also point out that the DIT is using a windows computer for the transcoding, but as they're .MXF files that shouldn't be an issue right?

Thanks,
