Hi there,
I'm having to add hundreds of Czech subtitles to an hour-long doc, and it's taking me forever. I think I'm missing a step, or something.
The Czech language has some accents we don't have in English, and I accept the fact that I'm restricted to Lucida Grande (the one font I've found that allows for all these accents). That's fine.
So I'm copying all the subtitles from my translator's Word doc, and converting them to Lucida Grande, with all the right accents intact. But when I paste them into Title Tool, they all convert to Geneva and all the accents disappear (the letters that should have accents are replaced with rectangles and symbols, etc.). If I try (in Title Tool) to then change the font to Lucida Grande, it gets even worse.
Is there a step I'm missing? If I have to paste in each title, and then use the Czech keyboard to fix all the problem letters, it'll take me forever.
Thanks, and Happy New Year everyone,
Malcolm
