Hi all,
After our upgrade from the previous version to 8.5 we have noticed that our output colourspace has shifted unpleasantly.
We are using Sony FS7 SLOG2 and SLOG3-CINE-L footage with standard LUTs we have created in LUTCALC and used for many months. The LUTs haven't changed.
The problem occurs across all SLOG material played from the timeline. It's considerably shifted, obvious to the naked eye.
We have tried reinstalling, and removing/reapplying the LUT with no effect.
Anyone else seeing (or definitely not seeing) this issue?
Thanks!
Tony
UPDATE: The best testing procedure we have found is to load a project for which you also have a master made with a previous AVID version. AMA link to the master and load it into the source monitor, and match a frame with the same image with LUT applied coming off the timeline. For SLOG2 the difference is immediately obvious (wholesale colour shifts), for SLOG3 its a more subtle crushing of the blacks and blowing out of highlights (though both still show legal on the waveform monitor).
