Hey all,
I will be calling Avid next if I cant get this issue resolved here are the cliff notes.
We are consolidating XDCam 50mbit footage from a deck to our ISIS. About 1-2 minutes in to the transfer, the process slows to a crawl and I dont know what it is because if I do a RAW copy to the ISIS at the finder level, the copy stays consistent and its about 2X Realtime. After seeing this, Ive ruled out XDCAM drivers. Here are the other things Ive tried.
Consolidated to a Local Drive (no difference)
Removed and reinstalled MC 7.0.3
Updated MC to 7.0.4 (there was a bug in 7.0.3 about XDCam so I didnt want to take a chance)
Reinstalled the most currenty AMA plug in
Reinstalled drivers for XDcam
We have a PC/Symphony also on the same version of the software and drivers also connected to the ISIS and it conolsidates like a CHAMP!!
The Mac is on 10.8.5
Im really stumped on this one. The next test is to just import the footage and see if I get the same slow down, but I shouldnt have to do this.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.THANKS!!
