Greetings,
Is there anyone else out there seeing this very specific error? Would anyone be willing to try re-creating it so I know it's not just our media?
We have audio files that are sub-clips of sub-clips. If we use the audio mixer to adjust the levels on any of these clips we will then get an error when trying to cut them in. Those clips that we don't apply a level change to will cut in just fine. Despite the error, the bad clips will still cut in but one has to resize the timeline before the clips will become visible in the timeline. This is repeatable on MC 8.6.1 and MC 8.6.3 and on several systems. This does not happen on MC 7.0.4.
The first error is an Assertain failed: isSet() error
And after pressing Continue one gets the FATAL_ERROR but we can keep working after pressing OK. Again, the clip cuts in but we have to resize the timeline before the change is visible.
(Can we not add more than one jpeg to these posts?)
Anyway, I will call Avid support but I'm curious if anyone else here can replicate this. These are 3 Track Broadcast Wave files.
