Hi - Let's say I connected to client manager, which mounts a file share on an ISIS server. I then opened Media Composer and my project, which uses the drive mounted in Client Manager as a media drive.
The sequence links to all media and is online and plays the media from the drive.
I then unmount the drive and press play in MC - the sequence is still online and plays fine.
What is the purpose of this function? What does it serve to achieve?
How can I bypass it and refresh the static nature of MC's connection to my media and show it as offline? (after all it is!)
Is the sequence of clips in memory? or does MC hold on to a mounted volume even if windows or client manager has removed it?
