I am wondering if I might have used the wrong search terms when looking for an answer to this in the forums as I would have thought the question would have come up once or twice before. Anyway:
As I'm sure everyone who's loaded up Media Composer 7 or earlier on a Retina display Apple device have noticed, it just doesn't look very nice. With the added resolution of the screen one could potentially (provided you have the eyesight) shrink down windows to fit more in the screen. Shrinking font size now to get more screen real estate now I can barely see a thing due to the pixel resolution on the text and icons.
So my question is: Has thing changed in version 8? I usually take my projects from start to finish on my own equipment (a custom desktop machine and a Macbook) so I don't really need the upgrade for the sake of staying updated just yet. If, however, the latest version supports "retina resolutions" then that would definitely be worth an upgrade for me.
So, yeah... in short: does anyone know?
