My techs are telling me that AVID is sending us screen shots of an Apple computer but we have a PC computer.
Furthermore, we're being send CAT files as signed certificates but they must be attached to Drivers to be functional. Sending them independently of Drivers is of no functional value whatsoever.
When I follow the latest links AVID provided to download the BlackMagic_Desktop_Video_Avid_Windows_10,8.zip installer I obtain Error Code 2753: "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The Error Code is 2753" So there is something wrong with the Installer, whether AVID likes it or not. I encountered a similar problem with the Windows download directly from my Avid Account. I have a PC (Windows) computer based on specifications my techs obtained directly from AVID. We have had HP on site to inspect the computer. It is functioning perfectly.
We need an AVID L3 to talk directly with my techs because our damages are becoming more significant with each day AVID doesn't fix the problem that is now in its seventh month.
Windows Driver Signing Policy is part of Public Key Infrastructure. AVID ought to have been able to fix this problem.
What's the point of paying for support when AVID ignores such a costly and significant problem for so long. This installation and functionality problem for software to find my device and control a DNxIO is now in its seventh unresolved month.
