Very annoyed!!

We bought a support renewal for 20 Media Composer licenses to be able to update to the newest version. This was back in August 2015. But we still have not received a working license to this date. And of course we are getting very very annoyed!!

We got the online download and activation code and managed to get the 20 licenses to show up in our Master Account. But the expiration date of the support contract have not been updated, so we cannot run the current Media Composer. The service we payed for (the support extension) has never been delivered to us.

We of course contacted Avid Support. And they suggested to contact our reseller. So we did. Our Avid reseller cannot fix the license of course, but we are supprised that Avid ever thought he could. But he uses his own channels and talks to his Avid representatives and assured us weeks later, that Avid managed to fix the problem on their end. We generated new license files, but no success. So we start the whole game from the beginning again and call Avid support. Avid makes us send additional information and documents, then suggests contacting our reseller again. But he of course cannot fix the license this time either. He couldn't the fist time, and he never will. But he tries to speed up things for us and uses his own Avid contacts. Weeks pass, then we get another go from him. But also this time we generate a license file with a expired support date. Still not working. So, we contact Avid again and start from the beginning.

We are stuck in a bloody loop! This doesn't lead anywhere (except to the beginning of the next loop). How do we break out of this nonsense support circle?? Please, anyone???

Is there no one at Avid that can actually generate us a license that works? How complicated can it be?? And men, we payed for it a long long time ago!!

If Avid were my buddy and hasn't returned my 50 bucks on the promised date, I would suggested they owe me a beer. But Avid aint my buddy and there is a lot more money involved! So I think we are entitled to a free support extension. Or send me a whole barrel o beer. Cheers.
