Audio Settings Don't Persist after closing application

Hi

Using Avid Media Composer 6.0 on Win7 64bit

When I go to settings > Audio, the 'default pan' setting is set to 'All Tracks Centred'.

If I change this to 'alternating L/R', which is how I want it, then I find that when I close the application and then re open it (or when I shut down PC at end of day, then turn it on the next morning), the 'default pan' setting always goes back to 'All Tracks Centred'

Is there any way to make the setting stick without having to change it each time?
