Whats New: With this release, users can:
Review their actions with the Activity History log.
Non-restricted users can now set automatic updates & downloads of MC and ProTools plug-ins. All products purchased on the Avid.com online store, are then displayed on the Apps tab. Any plug-ins that go along with subscriptions (for Pro Tools) are displayed on the Subscriptions section on the Account tab.
On the Apps tab, a new filtering method is applied: users can use the first three letters of plug-ins to find them.
Application Manager saves administrator's login, so the next time you login you will have to enter only the password.
From now on, the signed in state of the user is saved even when he/she is offline.
When a product is activated with a floating license, the user will not see the license's expiration date. The license remains valid as long as the user keeps working with Media Composer.
Whats Fixed: There are over 25 issues resolved with this release of Application Manager v2.5.1.
Most notably:

- Wrong sorting order of products on the Licensing tab has been resolved.
- and many more.....
Known Issues: All of the known issues are located in the ReadMe document. The following issue has come up a lot so it is outlined below.
Database is not created if the appmanager.db folder already exists. If a customer deletes the contents of the appmanager.db folder, but leaves the folder itself, AvidApplicationManagerHelper fails to create a database. This directory can be found:
On Windows: C:\ProgramData\Avid\AppManager\Db
On Mac OS X: /Library/Caches/Avid/AppMan/Db/
Workaround: To create a database, do the following:
Quit Avid Application Manager Helper. Delete the appmanager.db folder. Relaunch Avid Application Manager Helper.
