getFileDetails() giving error for masterclips which are listed in response of FindRelatives() for sequence files

I have a customer with following AVID environment

• Avid Interplay WS 3.3
• Avid Isis Client 4.7.4
• Avid Interplay Access 3.2.0
• Avid Interplay Media Indexer3.2.0
• Avid Service Framework 1.8.0.40 

To get information about the elementary files being referred to from a sequence file, we are making the following API calls-

• FindRelatives() on sequnce file --> to get details about master clips being referred from sequence file
• getFileDetails() on each of the master clip --> to get details about elementary files being referred from each of master clip

The process of calling getFileDetails() APIs on master clips which are listed in response of FindRelatives() for sequence files the following messages are being thrown-

• Could not initialize class com.avid.workgroup.abplugins.metadata.MetaDataExtractor
• no getMetaData in java.library.path

Any pointers on what might be going wrong? PS: The call to getFileDetails() directly on some other master files are giving proper response. The problem is present for each and every sequence file.
