New RED AMA plug-in?

Has anyone heard any whispers of a new AMA plug-in for RED media?

I'd like this resolved before I push the go button on the purchase of a new 12 core Mac Pro for our DNxIO suite.

I'm leaning towards the 12 core as we will have DaVinci Resolve in the suite as well. I'm probably going to go for the lesser D500 video cards, though, as I've read horror stories of D700s overheating with Resolve on other forums.

I know this isn't a Resolve or RED forum but any info gratefully received.
